Schumacher commits to Colby College
Mission congratulates senior forward Courtney Schumacher on her commitment to the NESCAC’s Colby College.
Courtney was influenced by her father’s love of the game and began playing hockey at 7.
Her top hockey memory is her u16 State Championship win.
Courtney is a gifted all around athlete and student with many personal accolades. Her college decision was a great example of finding one’s individual path. With offers at both the D1 and D3 levels, Courtney’s decision was a difficult one. Ultimately she chose what she believes will give her the best chance to reach her career goal of working for the FBI. She plans on majoring in psychology.
