Rob Klein
Head Coach Boys 18U
I'm entering my second season as Head Coach, but fourth year with the U18 program at the Chicago Mission. Prior to the Mission, I was hired as an Assistant Coach at my high school, Lake Forest Academy, immediately after graduating from St. Mary's University of Minnesota in 2010. I spent 11 seasons there in that role. I am also a USA Hockey level 1, 2, 3, and 4 Coach Developer in the Central District for the Coaching Education Program. I have been in that position for the past 10 years helping educate coaches from around the country about all aspects of the game of hockey. Lastly, during the summers from 2017 to 2021, I was a coach and instructor at Can/AM Hockey Camps in Lake Placid, NY helping lead on ice sessions for kids at the U16 and U18 levels. Over the years, the staff I've been a part of have developed an extensive network of connections, which have helped move our players to all levels of Junior hockey and beyond.
Outside of hockey, I am a Senior Manager in the transportation world at CJ Logistics America. In this position I oversee our LTL, Intermodal and Drayage partnerships, contracts and strategy. Thank you to my family, and especially my wife and daughter for being a great support staff throughout my coaching career.
