Montembeault Commits to Connecticut College

Chicago Mission congratulates senior forward
Olivia Montembeault on her commitment to Connecticut College.

Olivia’s parents first put her in skates at 2. She skated with the Mission for 6 years. Her best hockey memory is her bronze medal at Nationals in California. “Although it wasn’t the outcome we wanted, it was so much fun to play with my team, then go together to dinner or the beach afterwards. This trip gave my team and I a bonding experience like no other.”

Her accomplishments on the ice include 3 State Championships. In the classroom Olivia made honor roll 9th-12th grade and boosts a 4.5 GPA. She said “Mission has had a huge impact on me. I came to Mission when I was 12. I grew up with this organization and these girls. Mission gave me a safe place and somewhere to grow. I have become the person I am today because of the Mission and I can’t thank this organization enough. Mission will be a part of me for the rest of my life and I will never let that part of me go.”
Olivia chose Connecticut College with academics in mind. She looks forward to committing in the NESCAC conference while getting a great education. She loved the campus, facilities and location and is extremely excited to play for Coach Steele!

Congratulations to the entire Montembeault family!!!
