Mission Hockey Director Accepts NHL Coaching Position

The Chicago Mission is proud to announce Christian Hmura has accepted a coaching position with the New York Rangers.

We are thrilled to see Christian fulfill a lifelong dream to join the NHL as the Skills and Performance Development Coach for the New York Rangers.

We wish Christian and his family heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on his new endeavor.
Chicago Mission thanks Christian for instilling his passion and respect for the game in his players and colleagues. Christian’s development technique is a legacy that will be felt for seasons to come.

Christian joins a group of Mission coaches who have gone on to the professional ranks; Bob Nardella (Chicago Wolves- head coach), Anders Sorensen (Rockford IceHogs- head coach), Yanic Perreault (Rockford IceHogs- development coach) and former skill coach Kenny McCudden (Washington Capitals – assistant coach)
