Madison Gaines Commits to Union College

The Chicago Mission congratulates senior forward Madison Gaines on her commitment to Union College.

Madi is in her 4th year with the Mission and has become a respected three-zone forward who contributes in every phase of the U19 team. She’s earned numerous accomplishments on and off the ice, including multiple USA Hockey Development Camps, National Honor Society membership, and a Seal of Biliteracy.

Reflecting on her time with the Mission, Madi shared:

“The Chicago Mission program has brought me some of the best years of my hockey career. Mission turned out to be a program that had everything I ever dreamed of as a young hockey player, making it an honor to wear the neon green. From my amazing coaches and teammates, Mission has helped me grow as a player and person on and off the ice. I will be forever grateful for these four years where I made memories that I will take with me wherever I go.”

Looking ahead to the next chapter:

“I chose Union College because the campus fits my personality and I felt supported as a student even before committing. The coaching staff is amazing and the campus is beautiful.”

Madi plans to pursue a Pre-Med academic path at Union.
