Kayla Doerre Commits to Oswego State

Congratulations to Mission’s senior forward Kayla Doerre on her commitment to Oswego State.

Kayla starting playing hockey when she was 7 and is in her 2nd year at the Mission. Kayla also is an accomplished softball player. She uses her athleticism and strength effectively as a power forward on the u19’s.
Kayla said “When I came to Mission I felt very welcomed from the beginning, one of my favorite memories is when we played my old team and I scored a hat trick.”
Kayla also shines in the classroom. She is on the high honor role and a member of the National Honor Society.
About the Lakers she said “I chose SUNY Oswego because the moment I stepped on campus I felt at home. The coaches and players were all so nice and caring. I love that Coach Digby cares tremendously about each of his players.” Kayla plans on studying Marketing or Management at Oswego State.
