Kam Davis Commits to Minnesota Duluth

Chicago Mission congratulates senior defenseman Kam Davis on her commitment to the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Kam began hockey at age 3. She has skated with the Mission for 3 seasons. Her recent top hockey moment is committing to Coach Crowell at UMD. Kam’s on and off ice honors include…

  • 2 time selection to USA Hockey’s u18 camp and festival
  • u18 Team USA Rivalry Series member
  • Achieving High Honors for all 4 years of high school
  • Rotary Student of the Month recipient

Kam credits the Mission for teaching her to be resilient when dealing with adversity. She also said, “Mission has ingrained in me, the importance of commitment and being a team player.” When asked about her college choice, she responded, “I chose Duluth because it was a perfect fit for me. I love the coaching staff, the team atmosphere, their style of play, the facilities, and the WCHA. I also respect UMD’s reputation and history”

Kam plans on majoring in business. She hopes to continue playing after college in the PWHL, and then to give back to this game by coaching the next generation at the Mission.
