Lindsey Smolen Commits to Robert Morris University (D1)
Chicago Mission congratulates senior forward Lindsey Smolen on her commitment to Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania.
Lindsey has been with the Mission for 8 years. She says “Mission has taught me about hard work and that goals aren’t achieved without it. It’s also shown me that a bunch of girls from all different backgrounds can come together and become a family”.
One of her top hockey memories was, as a young player, Mission sweeping the Illinois State Championships and sharing that moment with the entire Mission family.
Lindsey plans on majoring in sports management at RMU. She chose RMU “because I was excited to be a part of rebuilding a D-1 program that had unfortunately been cut. The school has a great atmosphere and the perfect business program for me.”
