Brunner Commits to the College of St Scholastica

Chicago Mission congratulates senior goaltender Ilsa Brunner on her commitment to the College of St Scholastica.

Ilsa started playing hockey at 9 and is in her second season with the Mission.  Ilsa brings an incredible work ethic and never settles, striving to get better every day.  She has won 5 State Championships in two states with 3 different teams. Ilsa said “My favorite memory is winning state in triple overtime last season. Playing for Mission has impacted me immensely. Playing for coaches and with teammates who believe in you fully and support you no matter what is life changing, and has inspired me to be a better person and hockey player.
I chose the College of St Scholastica for its location in Duluth, Minnesota and its strong medical programs. On the hockey side I chose CSS for the great new coaching staff and the opportunity to make an impact on the program as its winning culture is being built.”  Ilsa plans on pursuing a Exercise Physiology major on a Pre-Chiropractic route.
She also wanted to thank her parents, host family, her many coaches and teammates for the support throughout the years.

Congrats to the Brunner family!
