Skotty Commits to Union
Chicago Mission congratulates senior forward Ella Skotty on her commitment to Union College.
Ella began skating at three and is in her 3rd season with the Mission. Ella’s on ice accomplishments include four State Championships and earning selection to the USA Hockey Development Camps.
Ella said “One of my favorite memories with the Mission is winning a state championship with my teammates. That moment reminded me of the value of hard work, resilience, and teamwork.
Beyond hockey, the Mission has given me lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences that have shaped who I am today. Playing for the Mission has taught me discipline, growth, and the drive to always strive for excellence.”
She feels the Garnet Chargers are a great fit for her based on its strong academics, new facilities, blended with a competitive hockey program.
Ella plans to major in business. Her goal is to build a career that keeps her connected to sports.
