Girls U19 STEWART Commits to UCONN
Mission congratulates senior forward Addison Stewart on her commitment to the University of Connecticut.
Addi started playing hockey at 7, when her mom bribed her to play with an outfit for her American Girl doll. Her game has made significant strides at Mission, as she has grown into a solid 3 zone player with scoring ability.
Stewart is a 4 year honor roll student in the classroom, as well as earning Illinois High School All State recognition on the ice. Her favorite Mission memory was her State Championship last season. She chose UConn because it checked every box for her. “UConn was the perfect academic and athletic fit for me. Plus it’s the perfect size school”. Addi plans on majoring in Sports Management and Marketing with the Huskies.
